SUNSHINE LAW REQUESTS

§ 610.011, RSMo. states: “It is the public policy of this state that meetings, records, votes, actions, and deliberations of public governmental bodies be open to the public unless otherwise provided by law. Sections 610.010 to 610.200 shall be liberally construed and their exceptions strictly construed to promote this public policy.”

In accordance with state law, the Wright County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has provided a request form to aid in Sunshine Requests under Missouri’s Sunshine Law:

Additionally, copies of this form can be picked up at the Wright County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm at the address below. 

Please fill out the form completely. Our office will respond to your request within 3 days. If we are able to comply with your request under 
§ 610.011, RSMo, payment will need to be submitted by you in order to begin fulfillment of the Sunshine Request. Any payment must be in the form of a money order for the exact amount indicated in our response. Please make out money orders to Wright County Prosecuting Attorney.
