15 Year Sentence for Drug Trafficker

The Wright County Prosecutor John Tyrrell announces that on October 8, 2020, Corey Turney, received a 15 year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections probation denied for drug trafficking. Wright County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Highway Patrol, Mansfield PD, and Mountain Grove PD worked to together in the investigation and apprehension of Defendant Turney. He was apprehended by Deputies Lender and McLear and at the time Defendant Turney was in possession of over 100 grams of methamphetamine. Judge Carter presided over the case.

“Our local law enforcement worked hard and more importantly they work together to catch drug dealers and traffickers in our community to get methamphetamine off our streets. This 15 year sentence is a great result for Wright County,” says John Tyrrell.
