John Tyrrell the Wright County Prosecutor announces that on May 7, 2020, Brenton “Slim” Braley was sentenced to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
The investigation that lead to the successful arrest and prosecution of Braley was conducted by the Wright County Sheriff Office, Glen Adler Sheriff. The investigation by Deputies Pam Britt and Sean McClear lead to a search warrant for a residence near a school located in Mountain Grove. The search warrant was executed by the Wright County Sheriff Office and police officers of the Mountain Grove Police Department, Danny Bledsoe Chief. This was the work of two days of investigation by the Deputies that began on April 18 and concluded on April 19.
“The Deputies worked hard on this case and it made for a long two days for them and a late night. Defendant Braley was dealing methamphetamine near a school. I am proud of how our officers and deputies work together to make our County a safer place. This was a very good outcome for our County to have a drug dealer like this going to prison for a long time,” says Prosecutor Tyrrell.
